Privacy policy

This policy explains what information SYNCD uses to operate the game, understand site visits, and support advertising. SYNCD does not require an account and does not create permanent player profiles.

Information used to run a game

In remote play, SYNCD temporarily processes player display names, the selected game mode, room status, question identifiers, chooser answers, guesses, scores, and connection timestamps. This information is needed to connect two devices, keep answers private until the reveal, recover an active room after a refresh, and show the result. Rooms are temporary and are not intended as a permanent history of play.

Local pass-and-play happens in the browser on the shared device. Please avoid entering sensitive personal information in names or custom answers. SYNCD is a casual game, not a private messaging or record-storage service.

Analytics and technical information

SYNCD may collect aggregate visit information such as pages viewed, approximate country, device type, referring source, session duration, and technical error details. This helps us understand which guides are useful and fix pages that do not work. Standard web requests may also include an IP address, browser type, and device information.

Google advertising and cookies

Substantial public guide pages may use Google AdSense. Google and its partners may place or read cookies, use web beacons, IP addresses, or other identifiers to serve, measure, and personalize ads based on visits to this and other websites. Advertising code is not intentionally loaded on game rooms, waiting screens, answer screens, reveals, results, alerts, or other action-only screens.

Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can manage ad personalization in Google My Ad Center, and browser settings can be used to delete or block cookies. Where consent is legally required, advertising choices should be collected before non-essential advertising cookies are used.

Sharing and retention

Information may be processed by service providers that host the site, synchronize temporary rooms, measure visits, prevent abuse, or deliver advertising. We do not sell player names or game answers. Temporary room information is kept only as needed to operate and recover an active game, subject to routine operational backups and security logs.

Children and sensitive information

SYNCD is not directed to children under 13. Do not submit sensitive information, precise location, financial data, health details, or other confidential material in a player name or custom answer. If you believe a child has provided personal information, use the contact page to request review or deletion.

Your choices

You may leave a game at any time, clear browser data, block cookies, and choose not to use remote play. Privacy, access, or deletion questions can be submitted through the contact page. We may update this policy when the game or its service providers change and will revise the date shown above.
